San Pedro Resident Clings to Life Following Shooting Incident

For the latest news across Belize, visit: http://edition.channel5belize.com/ A San Pedro resident is clinging to life at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital, following a shooting incident on the island on Tuesday evening. Noe Nelson Zetina was at the Sacachispas Football Field at the corner of Angel Coral and Buccaneer Streets with a friend when he was approached by man who produced his licensed nine-millimeter firearm and fired several shots in his direction. At least one of the bullets made its mark on Zetina’s head; he was rushed to the K.H.M.H. where he remains in a critical condition. ASP Fitzroy Yearwood says that the shooter is in police custody.
