It’s been more than a year since we checked in with Inuk throat singer and electronic music artist Riit. At that time, she had just released her debut album, ataataga, and joined us for a special live show in Iqaluit. She’s also the host of a children's TV show, called Anaana's Tent (the only children's show spoken entirely in Inuktitut), and when the pandemic hit, she recorded some PSAs to help kids understand COVID-19. Riit joined Tom Power from her home in Iqaluit to tell us more about it and also performed a song for us.
