Victoria is urgently investigating three new coronavirus cases after 61 days of zero cases in the community. The cases are from Mentone, Hallam and Mitcham in Melbourne's South East and are all believed to be linked to Sydney's outbreak. They include two women in their 40s and a woman in her 70s . All are now self-isolating in their homes. Health authorities are currently investigating more than 40 primary close contacts of the three Victorian women. Victoria will be closed to further areas of Greater Sydney - including the Blue Mountains and Wollongong. Anyone who plans to return to Victoria from Sydney hotspots has until January 1 to cross the border with a permit.
