@jeremyevans23823 years ago I'm thinking that the "Being Alive" answer has to do with the amount of time dedicated to getting or maintaining a good physique. Some people don't want to dedicate their entire life to achieve it. It takes time, effort, and giving up bad habits. Basically the last answer could encompass all of the other answers. People are often unwilling to give up the life they enjoy even though they could enjoy an active and healthier lifestyle as well. ... 4

A: Someone thought along the way of a technological fantasy, you know transfer your mind into a robot and technically "give up on being alive" because a human body can never be truly perfect because it ages
Or B: Someone went philosophical and said there exists no "perfect body" in our known reality so to achieve you have to give up on being alive to reach whatever other plane there might exist. Be it spiritual, religious or something we don't even know of.
Both of those are a really far out though, and certainly not something that would pop into my mind first thing if i was asked this question. ... 1
