@61chickens3 years agoHmm...I think I could probably have predicted the outcome of that adventure as far as finding a Viva goes, but kudos to you for giving it a go anyway Daniel - it was worth it if only for the washed out turquoise of the building and the happy memories of Jack Brabham.... ...1

@Z32FURVTEC3 years agoAs always, I love seeing your videos! They're super cool. I'd love to have the chance to take my time and explore Japan the way that you do and hunt for old cars and dealerships. I'd also love to browse some of the Japanese junkyards. Keep the videos coming and stay safe! ...1

@banpeinet3 years agoThanks for the whole video! At least you found the place and it's a shame it's no longer in use. It reminds me of my hunting for old dealerships. I tried to track down a couple of old Nissan, Mazda and Prince dealerships here and some are very surprising. There used to be a Mazda dealership in the center of my hometown and the building now is a shoe shop 😁 Anyway, I'll be looking forward to the Type-R video! 👍 ...

@stelitejet3 years agoHad HB Viva with Holden 186 engine and torana gearbox and diff fitted as first car here in NZ.. People said why... Because the diff bolts in because the torana is viva based.. @chaimshamza58503 years agoI reckon the building could well be concurrent with the viva. Imagine that, a Brabham viva over there? I wonder who bought them? />Native Japanese fans of international motorsport would know of Brabham, i would guess and of course, some ex pats in the country may well knew of the viva itself. The uk was very much a viva market yet from what I have gathered, the Brabham were like hens Teath even in period It wasn't just cosmetic, either, it had some proper mechanical upgrades. Can't remember if Jack Brabham was involved in development or just ok'd and endorsed it. ...

@legionnairegonk44253 years agoMy dad had a Vauxhall Viva...... My earliest car memory. And he had the van version too! Not great times in UK. ...
